I started training about 7 years ago to lose weight and tone up, so strength training was the main focus for me for many years. Recently, I have started incorporating more functional fitness into my routine and this has made me fall in love with fitness even more, pushing myself in new areas has been really enjoyable for me.
I have 2 house bunnies who live in my flat and I work for a personal training platform which I use with my clients. When I started working for My Pt Hub, it really made me want to become a personal trainer. Speaking with personal trainers all over the world really sparked an interest for me as I began to see there was a gap in the market for women Personal Trainers in Crowborough. I also know exactly how it feels to start training in a gym when you know nothing about how to use a leg press machine or even how to perform the exercises properly. I would have people asking me how to eat the right foods and how they were starting yet another diet they couldn’t finish and I quickly realised there is so much miscommunication out there in the fitness industry, telling you not to eat certain foods and marketing pointless diet drinks. I believe in no bullshit advice and I incorporate this into all of my 121 training.
